2What you hear over and over and over from a spoiled kid
3An exciting club program where children learn about God
If you answered #3, then you are correct. AWANA, which stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (taken from the theme verse, II Timothy 2:15), is an international club program started over 50 years ago in Chicago, Illinois. It combines the excitement of unique games and challenging contests with memorizing God's Word and lessons from the Bible.

Our AWANA club includes separate groups for three and four year old preschoolers (Cubbies), children in kindergarten through second grade (Sparks), and individual groups for boys and girls in third through fifth grade (collectively called T&T Club, for Truth & Training). The groups are held on Wednesday evenings, from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m., during the school year (September through May).
Our program is a place where children learn what it means to be like Jesus from the Bible and observing the lives of adult leaders who follow Jesus themselves.
For enrollment information, please contact the Trinity Church office at (408) 739-6659, or awana@svtrinity.org. Open registration for the fall will begin August 1st, 2009.
